What is a Top Rated Program Badge?
A Top Rated Program Badge is awarded to programs that have received the highest number of reviews and the highest rating from alumni within the past 12 months. These badges highlight exceptional programs that consistently deliver meaningful, high-quality experiences for participants.
Each month, starting this February, GoAbroad will unveil a fresh batch of Top Rated Programs across different categories. The planned rollout is as follows:
- February – Volunteer Abroad
- March – TEFL
- April – Study Abroad
- May – Adventure Travel
- June – Language Programs
- July – Intern Abroad
- August – High School
- September – Teach Abroad
- October – Gap Year

Selection Process: Our Annual Top Rated Programs are based on both quantity of reviews collected and overall rating. To qualify, a program must have received at least 10 reviews within the past 12 months, with all counted reviews published during that period. Additionally, Top Rated Programs must also be a specific program for a destination or multiple destinations.
